Isaac Thomas was born May 9, 1932 to the union of Christine Jenkins and James Thomas in Ferriday Louisiana. He attend Sevier/Rosenwald high school in Ferriday, Lousiaian.
After high school Isaac enrolled in Grambling State University. Where he attained a bachelor degree in education. He also attend Southern University, where he attain his master degree in education administration and supervision.
In 1956, Isaac was employed by St. Martin Parish School Board to bring education to the northern part of the parish for African Americans as a math teacher. The name of the school was Huron Elementary. Mrs. Broussard was teh principal at tha...
